Anecdotal books on relationship
my best friend suddenly want to read "why men love bitches". I perfectly know why she want to read this particular book. She is worrying that the happy relationship she has now won't last forever and she wants a panache to attract her bf forever.
-----cont. June 30th-----
I stumbled on a thread about another relationship book called "He is just not that into you” and the wave of disagreement from men force me to re-consider the value of the book. All self-help books tend to oversimplify complicated real-life issue and generalize the solution in one sentence. In this case, the book promotes the idea that if a man really likes you, he will sweep away any obstacles between you two, however difficult they are and pursues you relentlessly. Don't believe any of the excuses like "I am too busy to call" because the truth is that he doesn't like you enough. I first heard about this theory when I just started visting ZS. It didn't make any impression because I was uninterested in dating. Several years later, I read it again after an excruciating break-up and it turned out to be a revelation. Yes it hurts but if you see the truth, but it is going to last long.
